Booking is Simple With Hui

You can make a booking and see the accessibility of Hui vehicles within the Hui application. Here are some things you should know about how bookings work with Hui:

• Bookings can be made up to a year in advance
• Bookings are flexible and can be made for an hour or for multiple days.
• The longest booking you can make is 7 days.
• You must have a free Hui account to make a booking and see availability

How to Sign Up

  • Download the Hui Car Share app in the App Store or Google Play Store
  • Enter your information.
  • Select a password and enter your debit/credit card information. You won’t be charged until the time of your booking.
  • Scan your driver’s license or international driver’s license, both front and back.
  • Take a selfie. Please remove any hats or glasses.
  • Sit tight, we’ll be in touch with your account approval. Account reviews typically take 24-48 hours. Check your email or text messages for updates.
  • Once your account is approved, you can start booking cars instantly.

How to Book a Car

  • Search the app by current location or a specific address or landmark (e.g., your hotel). 
  • Enter the times that you’d like to pick up and return the vehicle. Tap on “Confirm”. 
  • Results are organized based on vehicle model and proximity to your requested location. 
  • Once you’ve selected a station and vehicle, tap on “Rent Now” to book. 
    • Tap on “Purchase This Rental” to confirm.
    • Tap on “Cancel” to return to the results page. 
  • We’ll send you an email and text message to confirm your booking!

Discounted day rates are available when booking 10-24 hours.

Tips

  • Bookings must be made a minimum of ten minutes in advance.
  • If no results can be found for your specific vehicle and time request, you can tap on “Flexible? See alternate times” with the calendar icon to view the vehicle’s availability via visual calendar.
    • The gray bar indicates the time period during which the vehicle is not available. The red bar indicates a requested time that conflicts with another rental. As you scroll through available times, the unavailable times will be struck through with a line. Once you’ve entered an open booking time, the bar will be blue.
    • Tap on “Next” to view the confirmation screen, after which you can tap on “Schedule”.
